The Drupal Moldova Association, with the support of USAID and the Government of Sweden, is organizing an event called Tech Pizza.

At this event, all IT enthusiasts are expected to find new useful information from a foreign specialist in information and communication technology.

What is Tech Pizza?

Tech Pizza is an event that gathers the IT community in an informal pizza and soft drink environment to discuss IT trends and stunning innovations, along with a special guest. This leads to the development of the local ICT market and to the consolidation of the ICT entrepreneurial community.

When and where will the event happen?

• Every two months, June / August / December / February / May
• Time: 7 pm
• Location: IHUB Chisinau

Simon Obstbaum - With over 13 years of experience in Software Development, he is currently the CTO of Ellation, a leading OTT video business committed to building premium video experiences for passionate fans.
Ellation operates the anime streaming platform Crunchyroll and the recently launched VRV, a curated multi-channel platform for fans of animation, games, sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, horror, and technology.

Besides that, Simon founded his IT-Outsourcing company with offices in Germany, Romania, Republic of Moldova and Malaysia, and currently employs more than 100 people. Previously, he worked independently as a network administrator, IT consultant, and software developer.

Tech Pizza is supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID Moldova) and the Government of Sweden, represented by the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (Sida), the Competitiveness Project of Moldova.
