Plastic Collection

On July 25 we are happy to see you again at the EcoLocal market. From 9:00 to 13:00 we are waiting for you in the KENTFORD parking lot (Ștefan cel Mare 202, near the Creangă / Topaz circle) to take used plastic and give natural soap instead!
For every kilogram of type 2 and 5 plastic we offer you a soap from Seed it Forward. We will also have some products from recycled plastic freshly made at our workshop. If you want a specific product, please write to us in private as soon as possible, so that we can create it by July 25th.
Since we started experimenting with type 4 plastic (LDPE), you can bring to this Plastic Collection bags/packages (!!!) from this type of plastic. How to recognize LDPE packages (no. 4)? LDPE packages are soft and do not rustle. They look and feel like a thin film, in which is also wrapped "Dacia" bread (very soft and stretchable packaging). In this type of plastic are usually packed clothes, appliances, equipment, radiators and other products.
Also, at the last mobile plastic collection, a donor told us that she makes carpets and washing sponges out of ordinary plastic bags. We want to help her with raw material, so we also accept thin plastic bags at this plastic collection. The bags must be clean, free of food traces.
Because it's "July Without Plastic" month at EcoLocal market, we ask you to come with your personal reusable cups, and we will have a tasty, healthy drink on our table to offer to those responsible. And for children we will prepare a game in which they can practice in waste sorting and learn something new.

Please clean the plastic, ie WASHED, without labels (if possible). And please bring only plastic with the recycling sign with the number # 2 (abbreviated HDPE), or # 5 (abbreviated PP), LDPE packages (with the number # 4) and regular thin plastic packages all necessarily clean.
P.S. To identify the type of plastic, check the label or the bottom of the object and try to find a triangle with the number 2 (abbreviated HDPE), or 5 (abbreviated PP) inside (the sign can be very small). On lids from the bottles and bags, the sign may be absent, but we accept them anyway.
