WOMEN’S KARATEDO FESTIVAL is an event dedicated to girls and women - "fighters on tatami and champions in life".
Organized on the occasion of International Women's Day, the event is a beautiful opportunity to discover the potential of girls and women through martial arts.
The slogan: "A strong woman is a protected woman"
Women's Karatedo Festival will reach its third edition in 2020 - a symbolic year for Karatedo, marked by its debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
WOMEN’S KARATEDO FESTIVAL is an initiative launched by the National Karate Federation of the Republic of Moldova WKF with the support of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of the Republic of Moldova, the International Olympic Committee and the Global Partner PANASONIC.

MASTERCLASS
During the Karatedo Women's Festival, a masterclass will be organized under the guidance of national coaches for young girls interested in Karatedo. The activity is open for both girls who already practice Karatedo and for those who want to discover this martial art and Olympic sport.
The participants will have the opportunity to practice Karatedo in the company of sportswomen, who represented our country at European and world level competitions.

INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
Females Karateka will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills in a friendly atmosphere in an international competition, organized according to WKF rules - https://www.wkf.net/pdf/WKF_Competition%20Rules_2020_EN.pdf.
The program will include the Kata and Kumite events, with age starting 4 years and older.
