Kids Velo Race 2020

Description

On 30 May 2020, a bicycle competition for young athletes - KIDS VELO RACE will be held in Chisinau. This urban race is intended for beginner cyclists and for those who practice this sport professionally.

All that is needed to join the competition is a two-wheeled bicycle, a suitable age (from 5 to 13 years) and the desire to demonstrate competitiveness to everyone around.

Participants in the cycling race for children are divided into 4 age groups. Each group has its own distance:

• 400 meters for children from 5 to 6 years old;
  
• 800 meters for those aged from 7 to 8 years;
  
• 1.2 km for those aged from 9 to 10 years;
  
• 2 km for children from 11 to 13 years old.

Each young athletes will receive a starter package including a T-shirt and a backpack, as well as a finisher’s medal at the end of the race. Boys and girls who take the first three places in their age category will receive prizes and gifts granted by partners.

The starting place is the Great National Assembly Square. The participation fee is 300 MDL (~15.66 EUR). To take part in KIDS VELO RACE, register here!
