Description

Collage Workshop – a visual exploration workshop through cut-outs and composition facilitated by Mihai Moldovanu
Friday / Saturday: October 9, 16, 24, 2026
The Art studio (Moldova Film / 4th Floor, Hincesti Hwy 61, Chisinau)

The Collage Workshop aims to experiment with the analog collage technique, using the printed materials that surround us in our daily lives as a starting point to deconstruct them and creatively transform their original message. Those passionate about visual culture are encouraged to explore various techniques of cutting, layering, and recontextualizing. Our discussions will serve as a close examination of the messages conveyed through print media, which we will then transform into new stories, memories, or critical visual compositions. All materials (magazines, packaging, printed matter, scissors, glue) are provided. However, participants are encouraged to bring their own materials if they wish: advertisements, newspapers, packaging or personal photographs.
The workshop activities can be followed in this telegram group.
