Forest Sripes / ЛІСОСМУГА
An exhibition by artist Serhii Bojko (Ukraine), symbolically held in the space of the Bunker Gallery and marking the 2 years of war in Ukraine, is featuring 10 large-scale canvases by the artist from Odesa, from two series of works: "Forest Sripes" and "The Occupiers".
Event curated by Paulus Adelsgruber, PhD in History, and Valeria Barbas, PhD in Art Studies, supported by the Center for Contemporary Art [Ksa:k], Goethe-Zentrum Chișinău, and the Embassy of Austria in the Republic of Moldova, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Moldova.
Serhii Bojko was born in 1985 in Odesa.
The Ukrainian artist began his artistic journey under the guidance of his father, Igor Antonovici Bojko. He has participated in national and international exhibitions. In 2010, he was the laureate of the competition for young artists organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Odesa, and since 2013, he has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine.
