Description
Summer has arrived,
Cover my heart with something,
With some SPF 50,
Or better yet, with your shade.
I think the magic of summer lies in its evenings.
If you're in the city, the evening sun casts beautiful shadows between the buildings, the concrete cools down, the streetlights come on, the engines go quiet, and somehow everything slows down.
If you're in the countryside or close to nature, the air becomes cooler, crickets, frogs (and mosquitoes!) emerge from their hiding places, and another act of summer begins.
To these already wonderful summer-evening scenes, I thought of adding one more element — the piano. Beautiful music (and not only music!) at the piano. Nothing complicated; light, calm and easy. Something cold in your glass, and from time to time a sigh — whether from pleasure or from the longing we'll feel when we remember these evenings.
The centerpiece of the program is Tchaikovsky's The Seasons, a cycle of 12 pieces dedicated to the months of the year. In the original edition, each piece was accompanied by a poetic epigraph selected by the editor of the magazine that commissioned the work, Nikolay Bernard. The pianist will read the poems (in Russian) and perform the pieces (in the language of music)
And for dessert, we'll choose whatever we feel like — perhaps some Chopin, perhaps some Debussy. We'll see how the evening unfolds.
Come earlier — the Eco Resort Butuceni restaurant awaits you with all kinds of food and drinks. At the farm, you can also spend some time with the donkeys
The concert starts at 7:30 PM and lasts approximately 90 minutes.
P.S. If it rains heavily (although it seems we've already had enough rain this year), we'll postpone the event to another day. If it's only a light drizzle, we'll put on our rain ponchos (no umbrellas) and listen with the gentle sound of rain in the background.
That's all. See you soon!
