Description
What’s better than one pianist? Two pianists!
Solo piano repertoire is beautifully complemented by music written for four hands or two pianos. This time, we’ll have just one piano — but two pianists. You’ll hear a light and airy Mozart sonata for four hands, and Schubert’s famous Fantasy in F minor, a dreamy, dramatic piece full of lyricism and sorrow.
The program also includes solo works by Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and Scriabin.
For the first time on the Moldo Crescendo stage, we welcome Valentin Malanețchi, originally from Chișinău. Valentin studied at the National University of Music in Bucharest and at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. He currently lives in Vienna. A versatile artist, he shares with Marcel Lazăr a deep love for Schubert, the great Viennese composer.
The concert will last approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.
