MOLDO CRESCENDO Classical Music Festival, 3rd edition.

Let's rediscover nine Houses of Culture in Moldova between July 21st and August 6th. Visit our beautiful concert halls, as well as the rural landscapes of our country. The halls can welcome up to 700 people ready to enjoy culture and the sound of music and poetry.

July:

August:

  • 4 - s. Bahrinesti
  • 5 - Rezina
  • 6 - Chisinau (USM)

The concert halls will be filled with the music composed by J.S.Bach, L.v.Beethoven, D.Shostakovich, G.Enescu and others. The musicians who will perform at the festival are born in Moldova and have graduated or are still studying abroad - Dan-Iulian Drutac – violin (UK), Ionel Manciu – violin (UK), Marcel Andries – violin (Malaysia), Ian Psegodschi – viola (Belgium), Radu Croitoru – cello (Romania), Constantin Bodorin – cello (Romania), Marcel Lazar – piano (Romania). The program will also include a poetry performance by Lia Sinchevici, an actress born in the Moldovan city Rezina and currently working in Bucharest since 2009. Lia will recite a fragment of Luceafarul by Mihai Eminescu, accompanied by our music. The project also brings together 9 photographers and 3 filmmakers, to offer the festival a visual art dimension.
